As a family-owned business established in 1985 at Pailles, Mauritius, OKB initially specialized in the manufacturing of automotive paint and allied products.

Our founder, a self-taught chemist, relentlessly tested various formulas resulting in high-performance products which competed with renowned international brands. His eagerness to always innovate his formulation is what paved the way for OKB’s success and this was especially remarkable considering the limited resources the business had at the time. Given that OKB was part of a handful of companies manufacturing automotive paint locally, its products were an invaluable asset to the automotive paint industry in Mauritius. The products quickly became well-known for their excellent quality and affordable price, leading to an exponential increase in demand.

In addition to manufacturing its own products, OKB partnered with pioneering automotive aftermarket brands such as Trimite, Spectra, and Langlow to bring the latest products to the Mauritian market.

After more than 35 years of existence, the company has extended its reach of the car care and detailing industry throughout Mauritius. To this day, it still manufactures several products locally, maintaining this unique, integral and trusted part of the company. A few of its home brands include Perfecta which is the only polishing compound brand manufactured locally, Premium and the signature OKB brand. As the business grows, it continues to partner with leading enterprises such as MIPA, TOA, KOVAX, Max Shine, Shine Mate and Concept Chemical amongst others. OKB operates everyday with customer satisfaction being a focal aspect and top priority for the company.
